We currently serve Dealerships across the country, and we are truly proud to serve our Dealers through our main operation located at 2479 Woodlake Circle, Suite 400, Okemos (East Lansing), Michigan.  We serve our Dealerships with the very best in sales and service direct market mailings, customer contact programs, vendor programs and other customized target marketing programs. Meet our key management staff members:

John E. Semler, CSL, President

John has 27 years of corporate and sales management experience with 22 years in auto retail products.  He began as a Dealership F&I Manager and moved up to account executive and professional sales trainer for a national credit life and service contract company, achieving the company’s #1 sales position five times.  John founded Clients for Life and developed the popular Clients for Life™ sales system in 1989-1990.  He has conducted national seminars teaching selling and customer service techniques and is a Certified Seminar Leader and member of the American Seminar Leaders Association.  John truly enjoys his Dealer and Dealer management associations.

Edna Ann Semler, FLMI, CLU, ChFc, Vice President

Edna has served as Clients for Life’s Chief Operating Officer since 1993.  Previously with MetLife, she worked in administrative management, sales and financial planning positions there for over 20 years.  For 7 years, she worked as MetLife’s chief administrator for the Michigan sales region, and was responsible for a multi-million dollar annual budget, sales promotion, sales tracking, communication and operational management.  Edna handles similar duties for Clients for Life in addition to the creative aspects of Dealership, company marketing and advertising programs.

Celia Lynn Ortiz, Ph.D., Director of Systems Engineering

Celia holds a Doctorate in Systems Engineering and has 21 years of prior experience serving as Senior Systems Consultant to Ford, G.M. and Chrysler.  She worked as a consultant with our firm for 8 years, and in 1999 we convinced her to join us as a full time company Director.  She has been honored because of her published work to become an elected member of the Sigma Xi worldwide Engineering and Scientific Research Society.  Celia is responsible for development of the best in resource systems and software design for our company, and she keeps us on the leading edge of technology while keeping the costs down for our clients.
